So, my dad is back in Venezuela, coming up next, my mother.
She is gonna stay for a couple of months, ironically I don't have to worry that much about screwing up my routine cause since she will be here that much time is a given that we won't stop our lives to keep her company. Don't get me wrong, i will try to spend time wit her, I barely see her a couple of weeks on the holidays, but stop doing things for two months is akin to shutting down life. All in all, I am quite happy she is coming, must be hell to be a parent and all of the sudden find an empty home.
I'm working hard on my documentary, next week we are gonna shoot on a local art school, the couple that run the place are amazing folks and are giving us all the help we need, they really like our proposal, so that is keeping me busy and happy. Also, more freelance work is coming this way, might not be a lot, but is something, and I get to exercise my writing.
On other news, the city has been chaos the last couple of days with all the celebration from the Liga championship conquered by Bara. I went for a couple of hours to Las Ramblas to celebrate with some friends from school (high school to be precise, now i feel old). It was a blast, and as usual our danger sense worked like a charm; we left before the usual dickheads began to create trouble.
Before I leave, here is a question for you...Have you ever felt loved more than one person at the same time?
cheers,
Rafa
