Hey people, how is it going?
I've been off the radar lately, at least since I got back to Maracaibo.
It's been good so far, family and friends, old people and even new people, but it feels odd to be having a vacation at, well, home.
Only real news is that I didn't got my pryect selected at school. It's weird cause I didn't really had any big expectations about it, but now that those little expextations didn't got fullfilled, it sucks. I don't know, maybe on a deeper level I really wanted to have it, but shit happens, move on, walk on and reload the gun.
Other than that there's really nothing much to tell, Maracaibo and Venezuela for that matter are still the same mess they were last time I came here, only friends and family stay the same. As far as I can tell, this country is still in the same downward spiral to a world of shit (only to quote Full Metal Jacket) it's been the last ten years, and the saddest thing is that there ain't no apparent hope of shifting away from it in the near future.
Anyway, back to happier things, this saturday we have our classic pizza and beer christmas dinner, it;s gonna be great. Also next monday there's a pretty good party at a local water park, you can't go wrong with good music and water slides.
Oh well...
