Hey my fellow guys and gals...
My mom is spending her last week here in Barcelona, she will be leaving the 31st. It makes me sad to know she is going back to that huge mess of a bad joke that Venezuela has become lately, but I also have to admit I need to regain my space and routine in here. I love my mother, but her visits are definitely something that completely mess me up in more than a way. I will try tio make this last week the most enjoyable I can (despite the merciless heat here at Barna) and just wait till december when I visit Mcbo.
I've been reading a lot lately, I soared through The Elegance of The Hedgehog, Neuromancer and currently I'm enjoing a book that's a collection of writings and manifests on film theory, very very interesting and educational, it was definitely a good buy. Also, slowly, I've been working my last pics, tonight I managed to edit a first batch of the pics I took during the Tour de France stage here at Barcelona, not too bad i have to say, but I need to practice more, specially portraits (in my defense, trying to catch a bycicle rider on the go is kinda hard).
BTW, my birthday is very soon, next monday I'll be turning a quarter century old...25 and still kicking. I've already got some "in advance" presents from my dad, my sister and my brother in law. My dad got me a new Ipod nano, I named her Cydonia. My sister gave me two hats and my bro in law a gift certificate from FNAC wich I spent on very good movies (Laura, All about Eve, La Strada, Amarcord, Roma, La Dolce Vita, and Spirited Away). My mom also got me movies, I picked the pack actually hehehe, but she said she'll give it to me on the correct day (it's a Jacques Tourneur pack, including my favorite Out of the Past).
Well, that's it for now, I hope to hear from you guys, lots of love, and remember, if it's yellow, it's mellow; if it's brown, flush it down.
cheers
