So school has started. It's not so bad, I guess. I've got first period free! I just received an awesome package from JenBar- five mix cd's with color coded liner notes, hah. And personal anecdotes. Fun fun.
Latin's not so bad this term, we're doing Catullus and it's sort of fun to read love poems as opposed to stories about death and rape.
I'm also taking an interdisciplinary course called "Words and Music." I'm so glad I've taken music history or I would be so lost. We have to compose original pieces and read literature that has inspired musical works.
Ooh, I practiced poi today. I didn't do it at all last term, but now I'm inspired to get back into it I'd forgotten how relaxing it is. What a stress reliever. I'm thinking of trying out for the winter talent show, but I don't know if it would be allowed inside the auditorium or if that would even be a good idea. Last year I spun glowsticks to a Tool song. I need to up the ante
Blah blah, my life is boring after such an awesome vacation. Tomorrow is the first day of volunteering at the MSPCA, my first drum lesson since fall term, and the national math competition.
