Another weekend has flown by with odd things happening. Would it be a story of my life without that?
Let's see -- Friday someone actually contacted me via the online service provided by Nerve. Oddly enough she was pretty damn good looking too. She must be looking for dorks to take to a party ala Happy Days -- classic episode, by the way.
We'll see how that one plays out.
Might have things straightened out at work and the problem I was having with the bonus (or lack of) that I got. There's a bit of hope -- but then I know how this place works so I'm also not holding my breath.
Saturday I spent most of the day and night helping the guys from Toy Tokyo set up their new warehouse in Astoria. Man...there are times when I wish I was back in my sticky finger don't-give-a-damn days! Talk about a candyland In a few weeks I'll be helping out framing and drywalling their offices, which will net me a cool grand and hopefully an Eric So designed Nosferatu! I had tossed that in as a suggestion so let's hope that one works.
Went out with those guys to Sophies for some (actually a bunch) of beer -- damn those $10 pitchers! Anyway, I'm sitting at the bar and look at the end only to see someone that I had gone out with (and some freaky sex too) looking back at me. Yow! So after a bit I walked over and we talked for a while -- all's cool. See, if you don't end on a bad note then everyone's happy and you can still be down with an ex.
Got home eventually and found that someone I use to know / lived with (sorta) in college had called and told me this dude I also knew from college was in town and we should meet at a bar. D'oh! Didn't even feel the phone vibrate.
Today I'm spending the evening with another ex -- the crazy, super-medicated one -- so if I don't come back then she finally went ga-ga and chopped me up into souvlakia.

PS -- I know a great date-type resturant in my turf you can take your ex to. You can briefly excuse yourself, and well ... leave her there.
PPS -- Is Sophie's by chance a cuban sandwich place as well? They seriously have the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had.
