wow, look at me! Suddenly I'm all popular.
I feel all wanted and slutty
It's actually been quite for the last day or so, which is good.
Some odd news I've read:
+ Kelsey Grammer has inked his contract to be in the next Xmen film playing Dr. Henry "Hank" McCoy, aka Beast. At first I couldn't see it, but gave it a thums up when I realized he'd be perfect in the part.
+ Batman Begins opens on June 15th and I'll be there with Bat Bells on! I have always been a big Batman fan, especially anything that is the dark, brooding, gothic version. This time around expect to see some heavy psychological stuff happen via Christoper Nolan (director of Memento and Identity). This also will be playing at an IMAX theater and I thought I'd pop my IMAX cherry with this flick!
+ In an odd annoucement, Topher Grace, scrawny star of That 70's Show signed on to be the second villian for Spider-man 3. He's joining Thomas Haden Church (ex-mechanic on Wings and of the recent hit film Sideways) -- who's playing The Sandman. Grace's character hasn't been announced, but I lean to either The Chameleon or Electro. I'd be happy to see Electro since I've always been interested in a dude that can shoot lightening bolts / energy around. Maybe that's influenced from all of the times I jammed shit into an outlet to purposely shock myself.
On a music tip: download or buy the new Common album! Be is amazing...smooth, lyrical, intelligent rap. Common sort of falls into the "nu-soul" crowd, but I think he's at the top of 'em all.
So what's everyone's plan(s) for Memorial Day weekend?
