Whole bunch of miscellaneous stuff today!
I've been eating this recipe too often...damn good stuff!
Baked Breaded Acorn Squash
Serves 4
Active Time: 25 minutes
Start to Finish: 45 minutes
1 c. fine dry bread crumbs
tsp. dried thyme, crumbled
tsp. salt
Freshly ground black pepper
stick (4 tbsp.) unsalted butter, melted
1 (1-pound) acorn squash, halved lengthwise, seeded, and cut lengthwise into -inch-thick slices
Put rack in upper third of oven and preheat oven to 375 F.
Stir together bread crumbs, thyme, salt, and pepper to taste in a shallow bowl. Put butter in another shallow bowl.
Working in small batches, dip squash slices in butter, coat with bread crumbs, and arrange in one layer on a large baking sheet with sides.
Bake squash until golden, about 20 minutes.
Note: the skin will cook down and is edible!

Sites you really must check out:
Art At Large
Who woulda thunk? There's a gallery dedicated to erotic / smut art in Manhattan! Well worth checking out for the John John Jesse works. I will own the Darling Angel Twins print!
Motor Brands USA has some really hot shirts for the ladies and the greasers! The Super Bee Logo T-shirt is just too much! Payday is Friday and my order will be on it's way. Too bad there's the Dodge logo on the sleeve otherwise I'd convert that baby into a sleeve less shirt.
More and more I've been getting into Tara McPherson's artwork. There's something about her style that just gets me...plus original pieces are only $300. My next investment -- have to support the arts! Now if someone would buy my shit...
Nabbed all of the Dijits albums yesterday! Very happy since my turntable is going out and I don't know if I can afford any of the ones I've seen for sale around town. Damn DJ's
Speaking of DJ's -- if you missed the Amon Tobin and Blockhead set on Friday...well, you're in luck! Rocks Off cruises is hosting Amon Tobin on July 28th! For $25 you get to hear him spin while sailing around Manhattan at night! Very cool and I'm getting ready to order my ticket...
Tomorrow: UNSANE! Hell yeah. I'll be burned out on Wednesday but it'll be well worth it.
Thursday I take off for a weekend back in Indiana...g'damn I am so ready to split this town and go back home to see the family!
