hmm...I guess it has been a while since I did a post. It seems like my days are melting away, both from the heat and also from the crazy amount of stuff that I've been doing.
Work has been kicking up -- this year marks Pokemon's 10th anniversary so we've been doing stuff all year to celebrate it. Coming up on August 8th we're going to take over Bryant Park for an all day event! It's going to be a blast and a sight to see, especially with our Macy's Day Parade float hovering over Bryant Park all day!
Oh yeah, and it's kinda lame, but kinda cool...we have a special guest host. None other than Mr. Hulk Hogan! Ha ha aha I put in for Rowdy Roddy Piper, who I sorta know but they went with Hogan since he supposedly has some reality show on VH1.
Due to that and other stuff, I've been working from 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. quite often. Now mix in three days of going to the gym, then that means my day starts at 4:00 a.m. and ends when I walk through the door at 8:30 p.m.! Damn...
Started listening to Cult of Luna which turned out to be a band I should have listened to a long time ago. I saw their names around for a few years but never took that leap -- the name reminded me of bad goth but turned out to be nice and heavy, ala Godflesh (or one of spin-offs).
The Adventures of Brisco County Jr. just came out on DVD, which is cool, but the product manager at work is totally juiced by this dude over at Warner Brothers. I asked him to get me the box set and it's on the way for free In the last week he's given me something like 7 box sets....good stuff too like Superman (animated), Justice League, Batman Begins L/E dvd box set, Looney Tunes, etc. and swag. Lordy I do love swag!
Not much else happening. Been hanging with a gal who's pretty damn hot -- we have pretty good chemistry but conversations are stilted, so who knows if it'll go beyond hanging out and sex. Another lady, though, might be moving up the ladder.
When my friend left to go back to austin, she left a note on my fridge that said "Women of New York, you are gay-tarded!"...mostly pertaining to none of em wanting to do anything with me.
I can't agree more

PS -- Body Count was amazing. They're better now than they were ten years ago. Slayer should be opening for them. I was shocked to find out that was the first full show they played in over ten years. Ice-T brought his A-Game thrash metal.
