Time does fly by.
Made my appointment and dropped a deposit on getting my first tattoo. I'm going for a 1/2 sleeve -- all shoulder and part of my upper arm, ending right below where a short sleeve shirt would end. The design follows traditional Japanese Yakuza patterns
Since the three session (at $150 / hr for 4 hours each) will be a bundle, I decided to sell off some of my figure collection. Part of it, at least. I also watch 40 year old virgin last week...plus had some lasting, withering comments made by someone that I was "seeing" stuck in my craw.
Saturday was a shit day outside and gave me an opportunity to clean house and get stuff together for sale. Made a couple hundred dollars in 10 minutes! Not bad -- but dig this. I had a set of three Thundermutt figures (LE to 300 pieces each) that I paid $75 for at the gallery opening. They were only available in NYC so chumps on the West Coast were left high and dry. I get onto Kid Robot's Forum, posted the sale and literally 45 seconds later someone bought all three for $125. I was happy about that...only to find that the minimum that the set has been going for was $200 +! D'oh!!
Oh well -- I nearly have my first session paid for and my house is a bit less cluttered.
This week's schedule is going to be fun. Meet with the President of Pokemon early on and hopefully walk out with a new job. Got two dates and Friday I'm going to see the Mets with my friend Seth. Plus it looks like the freakin' cold weather is finally ending! My ass will be outside as much as possible...
