Another week, another...um...week!
Seems like every day had something going on:
+ Monday night was hob-knobbing with the infamous artists and designers at High Five's opening party. Of all the people I met, Neck Face was the biggest surprise -- not who I was expecting but a cool guy none the less. That place will be the bane of my toy collecting = too much good stuff and rare items!
+ Tuesday was VD. Hit Lit Lounge and Fuse Gallery to kill time before meeting up with the girlie-friend. Walked into a cool toy exhibit (timed with the Showroom's MTV Book signing / opening 1 block away). Chatted up a really nice guy who I quickly figured out to be Tristan Eaton! The rest ot the night was sweet -- any time I can spend with Amy is good
+ Wednesday and Thursday were "stay home and relax, dumbass" days. Much needed!
+ Friday I met up with Amy and 12 of her friends...people she's known for 8 years. Talk about an odd situation! It was nice to see here that relaxed around a group but man, totally felt out of place. Which resulted in me clamming up and keeping my yap shut the whole time...probably not making a good impression. Yeesh...
So why is it that so many people feel the need to chronicle their daily lives and interests on these things? The one thing that really isn't mentioned about (ugh) blogging is that the reader tends to play the part of a voyeur, catching little bits of a person's life that they probably wouldn't have found out about in olden days. But on the flip side, the one's writing these thing would be (in a virtual sense at least) exhibitionists...
