Is it me or was anyone else expecting to wake up to a ton of snow?
Frankly I'm surprised that the amount on the ground is as deep as it is. When I got ready to go to bed, the temp was still above 32. Sure, there was moisture in the air and it had been snowing, but as anyone knows, the air temp might drop but it takes much longer for the ground to get cold...let alone stop giving off residual heat from the day.
What this joint needs is a good, old-fashioned white out. The last one I was in...a few years ago...was for the books. Storm came screaming down outta Canada, over the Great Lakes and then proceeded to snow for 2 days. Within the first 6 hours alone we had about 24" of snow dump along with crazy drifting. That stuff isn't bad, but when you have to worry about power lines snapping, that's what sucks. One storm had killed the power at my parent's house for 3 days. Which meant no heat, no showers / toilets / running water and no way of getting out (due to the quantity of snow).
Anyone check out the list of bands at South x Southwest this year? The freakin' Gathering is making an appearance here in the states...DAMN! I would eat all of my neighbors (uncooked even) to see them. Coachella also has a great lineup.
Now if I only had money...and a heart...and a brain...
mmm....brains....
