Wild at heart and weird all over.

About a week ago I was in Barnes and Noble and got a ring from someone I haven't spoken with in 10 years -- an long-ago friend who was going to be in the city for some business. Kooky, but turned out to be a good time for the most part. I have to say that my friend...

That's one of the things I love about living here. All sorts of ranodm people from your past call you from out of nowhere saying that they're in town.

Had no idea about the Pretty Girls Make Graves show on Sunday. I'm so there. Last time I saw them was in 2002 at some bar in Hoboken.

Speaking of shows ...

HEAVY FUCKING METAL!

I'm still pissed that I can't get out to Chicago for the Touch and Go thing because of my silly job, but this makes me feel a little better.

It's been an eventful week and I'll kinda keep it short and simple:

+ Friday I did a photo shoot for work that should have finished up that day, but UPS was well over a day behind on their "guaranteed" delivery. Which meant that I had to go into work on Saturday to shoot a ton of apparel shots. Paid rent then found out that...

i want to steal your new diddies.

echo and the bunnymen at irving plaza??? i might have to go to that, but i'm not sure yet...that's fucking cool though. i love irving plaza. it might just be my favorite place to see shows ever. have a good time!

and now that i know that there's a bar called Warsaw, i'm no longer flipping through time out ny thinking that the crappy interpol-wannabe opening band for sisters of mercy (also named Warsaw) is playing an awful lot of shows lately. tee hee. smile

I had thought about holding off on the update until I got more of my tattoo worked on, but what the hell!

Friday I put myself into the hospital from drinking too much!

One of my co-workers had his last day on Friday, so I met up with them at a Korean bar on 32nd street. Basically it was the U.N. drinking party -- two...

Holy crap! I'm so happy you're not ... like ... dead!

And wait a minute, we don't live too far from each other, and take the same train ... which is kind of far from 58th street. How did you end up getting home?

Next time I see you, I'm buying you a bottled water. wink
zoomusikgrl:
wow...be careful man, that's really scary shit. i work in midtown, and the freaks i see wandering around there give me the heebie jeebies. your lucky that guy didn't give you some sort of rash!

i saw bauhaus in 98, so i'm very familiar with the gotham cd/dvd. i was 16 at the time, and had to sneak out to go to the show. and got grounded for it, ha ha! but ironically enough, my parents gave me gotham for christmas the next year. wink bauhaus is so kick ass live. peter murphy was wearing a cape last friday for "bela lugosi's dead", and it totally looked stupid with his bald spot.

Ah...my future wife Campbell has a set up. Ay yi yi...

Is it me or is the new, redesigned SG site slow? Might also be my shitty DSL connection. Verizon, pucker up ya bastards 'cause soon you'll be kissing my Greek ass!

Dig, the last few weeks have flown by and frankly I have no idea what's been going on. Pokemon has been keeping me...

I didn't mind Aeon Flux - in fact, I might even say I enjoyed it.

As far as manhandling on the "L" goes, all I can say is, "damn! I should have taken you advice. I ended up taking the 'F' and there was no funky manhandling to be had there."

Man, it's been a little bit since I updated!

Let's see...still loving the job! Made up (sort of) with the girl who I was starting to see...then not. Looks like we might hang out this weekend, which would be cool!

Thursday I was walking around and got "the look" from three girls, one of which was a way hot punky chick with killer eyes. Ay!...

I'm not making any comments about what that thing looks like.

If you missed on ISIS they were excellent. I've seen them quite a few times and that was by far my favorite set they ever did.

Lots of stuff off their new album. No one minded a bit because it was excellent. I'm already excited for them to come around again. Really REALLY looking forward to the new record.

On a bit of the downside, Dalek the opening act ...

I've seen Dalek about 100 times at this point and I have to support him because he's from my hometown, but they really weren't into the show and it was kind of obvious. Zombi slayed though.

I'll totally be there on Sunday. I'm under the impression that the reason the show is happening is because Ice-T's staring in some reality TV show called School of Rap where he takes this very well-to-do children and turns them into rappers. Sad, yes ... but he's my second favorite rapper of all time so I have to go.

Blarg, I'm babbling again. See you Sunday!

I know im probably going to be called an ass for saying this but umm.....it reminds me of a dildo guy. I know Japanese toys since im an avid fan of it but if i didnt know any better...it would be well hidden in my secret drawer. eeek wink

Sunday you need love

One week down at the new job and I'm glad that I took it. I think it hit me on Friday. We had a large group meeting to go over a rights and permissions manual this dude from Japan wrote. At one point people were seriously talking about the characters, playing the game and watching the anime. Wow...when adults were talking...

WHIRLYWIND!!!

Good lord, the last few days have flown by.

So, Pokemon fuckin' rocks! After six years of doing shitty jobs I'm back doing a cool gig, with cool people and for a cool company.

Dig it -- as part of my "job" they bought me a new Nintendo DS and the latest Pokemon game biggrin

On top of that, gave me a bottle of champagne,...
