Halloween is closing in fast. I've broken out the Misfits records... and some killer beers.

man... this band looked cooler than they actually were. Truth be told, The Misfits weren't a great band live. I saw them twice before the big break up. First was in DC in late 82. At the Wilson Center with Void and GI. They played for 20 minutes and stopped halfway thru each song to retune. it was easy to tell they were a band without focus for live performance.. atleast not at that time. Doyle was exceptionally bad. i left feeling kinda ripped off. back then... that was saying alot.

that said. i love the band. i love the records.. i love the images... but... reality is not always pretty.
