SG withdraw was really starting to kick in. big time. i've got a pretty good reason for not being around much lately. actually i don't. thought i did, but it turns out i've just been lazy. and the great 2007 ipod/cd ripping event has kept me more than busy while at the computer. i'm just about done with all that. in about 3 weeks i've filled up close to 20 GBs. i've got about 50 more cds to go, and then i'll be finished. and needless to say, i've been having a blast with that fucker.
while on the subject of music, i keep seeing these two disgusting commercials completely raping some of the music i love. #1. some playstation baseball game using a Nirvana song in the commercial. video game Derrick Jeter hitting home runs while Nirvana plays in the background. disturbing. #2: this one's even worse. some fucking Wendy's commercial with the Violent Femmes playing during the slow motion shots of a new chicken sandwich. it just makes no sense. and i puke a little bit every time i hear or see these commercials.
timeout for some fantastic.
those guys rule. case closed.
in other rock news, a couple weeks ago me and megan went and saw Wolfmother. that was a loud, loud good time. lots of power kicks and points, and a Zeppelin cover for good measure. good fucking show. and in all my time in Cleveland, i hadn't seen a show at the Agora Theater. i really liked that place. kinda dumpy, but kinda bad ass at the same time.
and the night before that show, we drove down to Akron for "An Evening With Kevin Smith." again, a really good time. that guy is damn funny and quite entertaining. i really wanted to get in line to ask him a question, but i quickly realized that if i did that i would spend most of the evening waiting in line outside the auditorium and miss everything. so i stayed parked in my seat and enjoyed the evening. lots of fun. glad i went.
i just finished reading Killing Yourself to Live by Chuck Klosterman. great read, great writer. i really, really enjoy his work. i'm about to start reading Fargo Rock City. i think anyone ages 25 to 35 that has any interest in pop culture and life in general would really enjoy any of his books. do yourself a favor, check it out.
bella, you were 100% percent right. there's definitely one thing to get me back in the swing of things around the site.
wow. honestly, she's making a strong run against reagan fro favorite of all time. wow. and she rocks like nobodies business. huge in my book.

i just ordered my tickets to see the Kings of Leon in may. can't fucking wait.
saw 300 last night. simply amazing. i'm going again.
for the past 4 or 5 weeks, Lost has been incredible. i still have no idea what the hell is going on.
made a new friend here. obviously pretty psyched about it.
i've never been happier about spring finally being here.
the Cavs are playing great, but i don't' think they will catch up to the Pistons. either way, i'm happy.
new White Stripes album coming out soon. very nice.
getting some new ink next thursday.
the new South Parks have been really funny.
lastly, i haven't really figured it out yet, but i think this girl is smokin hot.
honestly, not my type at all. but yeah, made me think some pretty dirty things.
with that my good friends, i'm off. enjoy the evening.

I'm sorry about your PC. That's the worst. Mine has been going at a dinosaur's pace (a big, fat one... not those fast, skinny little fuckers) lately, so I really need to do some cleaning of mine as well. Although... the more I think about getting a laptop, the more I'm liking your window idea.
I'm totally looking forward to hanging out this summer. Many Fat Tires (and probably a joint or two) will be consumded.
