Current Music: Coheed and Cambria - In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3
so i wrote my bartending exam yesterday. i don't know the results of my written test yet, i was told they would email me in a couple days, but on the practical part i got 98%! we were given 3 drinks and we had to go make them, with proper garnish, served on coasters or napkins, make them look how they would be expected to look when you go buy one, and there were 8 rounds for a total of 24 drinks. it was marked as 1 mark for each drink and a half mark for having each round done within a certain time. i only lost 1 half mark because i was told to make 4 of a certain shooter but i thought i heard 3, so i only mae 3. and i havn't slept much. i woke up at like 7:00 on saturday night, went to work, worked my ass off, i was exhausted by 5 am then i remembered that i had to go to my class on sunday and i wouldn't be able to sleep, it was rough trying to stay awake. i got home from class sometime after 6:30 (awake for 23 1/2 hours), had a nap and was up again for 10:00 to make a lunch and go back to work. i'm about ready to pass out. oh! and last night at work, when we have our empty boxes, we put the cardboard in our bailer, when the bailer is full you have to make a bail, we make at least one every night at work, and it's usually me that has to do it. so last night i went to go put my cardboard in the bailer, but someone had filled it and walked away leaving the me to have to make the bail. well i don't know who did it before me, but whoever it was didn't put a nice big piece on the bottom and when i was trying to put the wires through none of them would go, i tried every trick i had up my sleeve to try to ge those wires through, i couldn't get one. the guy who's been playing manager for the last little while reccomended taking some of the cardboard out, making it a little more loose and maybe i could get them in that way, so i closed everything up, but when the cardboard is pressed down it gets locked in, so i couldn't take any out. then dude figures that we'd have to open it up and let all the cardboard out and start fresh. what a pain in the ass that was. i stood back and watched as he lifted the press and let all the cardboard fall all over the room. he told me to clean it up and walked away, but he did send someone to help me. it took the two of us over an hour to get it all cleaned up, we had to move all of it out of the way so we could close the bailer, before we could put any of it back in, there's a lot of cardboard in a bail, i never realized how much until it was all over the receiving room floor. i don't ever want to touch the bailer again. i'm sick of being everyon's bitch. for now on, i'm going to be like everyone else and leave my mess for someone else to clean up.
