my back hurts. i need a massage. i've been pulling around REALLY heavy skids at work recently, because nobody else will, and i'm feeling it now. ouch
thursday was probably the best day i've had in quite some time. it all started with finnishing work thursday morning, i went out and bought a couple steaks, because andrew is in the middle of his 2 weeks on nights and we both had thurday off so we decided to have a nice steak dinner after work (at like 10:00 am). so we did that and we hung out for a bit, played some shuffleboard, then decided to nap, we put on the tv and fell asleep watching a special on cheetahs on the discovery channel. oh how i heart the discovery channel.
i awoke thursday evening and andrew was not around. he had gone home to nap a little more and then visit with his girlfriend. later thursday night (11:00pm-ish) andrew returned here. he had decided he would need my help to stay awake all night to be able to sleep before work on friday. so we watched a couple movies, sat on my roof drinking beer, walked around the neighbourhood at like 4 am sneaking into people's backyards looking for pools we can hop in later in the summer on another middle of the night adventure. around 5 am we decided we'd make strawberry daquiris and pull the ping pong table out (it's kept in the garage, so we pulled it out to the side of the road) and we played ping pong while drinking strawberry daquiris on the side of the road at 5 am, it was ever so much fun.
andrew and i were talking, and him and my other friends he lives with seriously want one of the guys to move out, he doesn't pull his weight, borrows money without returning it, playes his guitar WAY too loud at all hours, leaves a huge mess everywhere he goes, forgets to flush and throws childish temper tantrums on a daily basis. so i was thinking, their lease is up in august, and three of them are for sure going to re-sign it, but the other one, the unwanted one, has yet to decide. i'm going to talk to him, and if i can get a straight answer out of him, and that answer is a no, then i think i might move to kitchener with the boys. the place has been my second home all year, if i'm not at work or spending lonely nights at home, i'm out in kitchener with the boys. they have named me "patron of the month" every month thus far. i can put in a transfer from the walmart i'm at now to a walmart in kitchener, and then when i'm there i can try to find another job, i'd for sure have better luck in a place where i don't have to drive a half hour to civilization (i'm pretty sure i spelled that wrong).
i picked up my car yesterday aswell, when andrew was heading to ering i caught a ride with him so i didn't have to walk to the shop. the transmission is all fixed, but the car is still running pretty shittily. i was told it is probably the O2 sensor or the throttle position thingy that needs replacing, but the dude didn't have anything that would fit in my car. the car is still driveable, but the acceleration is moderate at best, if i need to get out of the way in a hurry, it's not gonna happen. the dude at the shop is gonna keep looking for me, and he has told me to come back once i've put 1000 kms on my new transmission so he can take a peek to make sure everything is still good, and he may have something by then to help me accelerate.'
i'm not 100% on this, but i think that this is quite possibly the longest post i've written, go me!
