i like sarah
AND i like katherine
i've liked sarah for quite a while now, after i started working overnights in june i've been waiting around for an hour or so every weekend i work, hoping that sarah would be working an opening shift and i can go visit her. sarah is also the only person i still talk to on a regular basis from when i worked during the sunlit hours.
on the first night of my continuing ed night class, i was walking in the halls making an attempt to finding my classroom. as i was walking i came across a pretty girl in the hall, but being unable to talk to pretty girls, i didn't say a word. as it turned out, the two of us walked into the same class. i sat near to her, hoping that maybe nobody would sit between us and conversation may take place, someone did. the second class i sat behind her, and these have become our permanent seats. last week the pretty girl that sits in front of me needed help with the class material, matt to the rescue! i helped her, and that made her happy, and that made me happy. on monday this week, i went to grab a coffee at break, and when i returned, the teacher was in my seat helping the girl that sits beside me, so i took a chance and sat beside the pretty girl, we became fromally introduced and i shook her hand. katherine i now know. we talked for a short few minutes, and i also led her in the right direction for the next part of the class. break soon ended and i had to return to my seat, katherine turned around for help several times in the second half of the class. the girl beside me leaned over and whispered to me "i think she likes you"
the weekend before last i found out that sarah needed a ride to the taste of chaos show last friday. once again, matt to the rescue! i decided i would drive sarah to the show, because 1. none of my friends were going and i'd be alone, and 2. sarah is a pretty girl, and this would mark the first time i'd see her out of work. i went into the store the saturday morning, but sarah was not there *tear* after finding that sarah was not there, i went to my sister, who also works at the store, and i wrote down my email address, and told her to give it to sarah, and tell her i'd be happy to give her a lift to the show. as it turned out, sarah was working the closing shift, my sister did see her before going home, and handed off the sticky note. sarah emailed me when she got home, but by that time i was already at work. i also checked if sarah was working sunday morning after i finnished, and she was. YAY! we talked, i told her i'd be her ride for the evening, she told me she sent me an email, but being at work all night i had not had a chance to read it yet. after our short visit, management came walking around, so we had to part before she got in trouble for socialising. i went home, checked me email, yay! mail from sarah! and when i signed onto my msn it popped up saying that she added me to her msn, that also made me very happy, so i added her aswell.
last night i had school again, enter katherine. last night more than ever katherine turned around for help, but she understood everything that was going on, she had all her answers right. again, the girl beside me leaned over and whispered "she likes you"
friday night, sarah and i, and her friend, went to the concert. we had a great time. we have also been talking on msn (for hours at a time) aswell, she seems to talk much more over msn than in person...but so do i.
last night marked the last class before our march break, so there is no class niex week, and instead of being happy that i don't have to wake up early and go to school, i find myself sad that i don't get to see katherine next week, i wanted to talk to her more last night, but i can't talk to pretty girls *tear*
i work this weekend again.....i'll more than likely end up waiting around to see if sarah is working her opening shifts again.
i have convinced myself over and over again that ______ (sarah/katherine) would be a better choice to persue, but then i keep asking "what if?" about the other.
