i had a pretty good weekend
i rode my bike to work in georgetown on friday, 28.9 km. i worked an 8.5 hour shift. after work i rode my bike to kitchener. this was supposed to be a 62 km ride, but i got lost in cambridge on the way and it ended up being 77 km. i was going to kitchener because my friend melissa wanted to party with me at the country club. apparently she never informed the guys that live there, because on my ride there i passed andrew driving in the opposite direction. he stopped, we talked for like 5 mins, and agreed that he'd go pick up his girlfriend, then go back to kitchener and we'd get drunk. slightly more than 4 hours after i left work i arrived at the country club, immediately went upstairs and had a shower. i stank like balls. i'm definately going to have to find places to wash on my trip. andrew and natalie showed up a little later and they brought mike aswell. adam called at like 9:50 and asked if we'd already got beer, beer store closes at 10:00. everyone except me already had beer, i don't exactly have anywhere to put it on a bicycle. so adam and i very quickly drove to the beer store. i was about to pick up a case of maclays when the dude that was washing the floor reccomended the president's choice beer. i was kinda hesitant with the whole pc beer, but it was the same price as my maclays and it came with a coupon for a free tub of ice cream. i drank a lot of pc beer that night.
in the morning andrew and i took all the empties that hve been collecting there back. there was like $30 worth, then we went tot he grocery store to pick up the free ice cream (which was delicious) and a bunch of stuff for breakfast. bacon, eggs, bread, juice, milk, and a watermelon. mmmmm watermelon
saturday was a pretty lazy day. it was rainy and gross out. after breakfast we watched the count of monte cristo, then we spent the afternoon playing monopoly. we went out for dinner. we came home and had a couple beers. rented some shitty movie which i would have fallen asleep to except mike and danny saved me. andrew and natalie went to bed just after we put it on, mike and danny went downstairs to smoke, and when the movie was boring enough, adam decided to go home to bed. so it's just me, on the couch, slowly falling asleep to the movie, when mike and danny come back upstairs, tell me to wake up, and we're getting really drunk. sounded good to me we played a few rounds of kings, drank every time they said "hank" on danny's king of the hill dvd's. we got drunk enough that we needed to go for a walk to the store for some fresh air. and as soon as we got back we started drinking again we played more kings, more king of the hill. i don't really remember going to bed, but i woke up on the couch and the table was covered in empties.
it was nice out again today. i rode my bike home. pretty much the whole ride this side of cambridge was uphill and into the wind. it sucked.
and so here i am, and i'm finnished updating. and it's just about bed time. i should be waking up tommorow morning at like 5:00 again, ride the hour and a half into georgetown for work. i don't know yet when i'm gonna stop going.
