Yeah, people get so indignant about the effort they have to put forth to buy xmas presents. They are so jaded. They don't even think about the fact that they are lucky, lucky that they didn't have to make them all themselves starting months before the holiday after work when they want to rest. People take our posh industrialized lives so absolutely for granted. Personally, I try extra hard to stay polite and friendly despite the raging negativity ... my life xmas present to all that must deal with me. Sometimes its hard, but I refuse to give in to the marketing machines' attempts to convince me that the universe continuously reorients its center of rotation to my center of gravity. (ok that was excessive, but you know what I mean right?).
