What a day at work today. I was having a very primal day today and everything sounded dirty and sexual to me. There is this woman Loretta, who is obviously significantly older than me, probably 10+ years, but still looks amazing. Her butt looks great in jeans. Anyways,

there was this filing box on a shelf, and it was rather heavy, but I took it down myself. She told me that I should have asked for help, and then she told me to tell her and she'd help me get it up and back onto the shelf. Of course, my first reaction was to make say, "I'd love for you to help me to get it up," but I was tactful and didn't. She has dragon breath and it kind of took away from some of her attractiveness.

I think she must have mixed in a turd or two with her coffee.

I do this thing where I laugh when I get a dirty thought in my head. Marie has been advised about this. Marie actually said, "We need to find you a girlfriend." Then Sandy walked by, and Marie said, "Speaking of girlfriends." I told Marie that as long as no one at work would have a problem with that then it would be okay with me. Marie said she would work on that. So it looks like Marie actually wants us to hook up. Yay!

Jane and Marie told me today that they really liked me, that I was the first person in 2 years to really understand my job duties. Marie was very very impressed (her words, not mine) about my work ethic and how I ask questions to make sure my work is okay. Why the fuck would I not ask questions? It is common sense to me, but apparently not to anyone else who has temped there. I'm just following directions and making sure that my stuff is right. We're talking many hundreds of thousands of dollars and even millions of dollars at stake if I

make a mistake on something. I need a job so I need to have my work be perfect. If I mess up and because of that, our company doesn't get a job, say, roofing the new addition to the Buffalo-Niagara International Airport, we lose millions of dollars and there are a lot of people who won't be able to work. My ass would be booted out the door. Marie then asked about how long it would take for me to be hired on with the whole temp-to-hire situation. I told her perhaps 3 months, but that I wasn't totally sure. Marie said we'll see about that, as in she didn't want to wait 3 months. Jane said I was catching along very well, in spite of them not having much time to sit down with me and explain at length exactly what I am doing. It for the most part has been, here's what you need to do, go do it.



All this came about because there was an issue of the companies that we work with being advised that I'm going to be putting my name on the work that goes out, and Jane was saying she is going to need me to take over some of her job duties so that she can help Marie out more and in a couple of months if she was gone on vacation I wouldn't be lost. I said, "If I'm still here." She said, "What do you mean, if you're still here?" Then I explained about the temp situation, and that's when Marie came over and they started praising me.

Things are going great for me. I'm just so happy right now. This is such a contrast to 2-3 months ago, and definitely a night/day contrast from last June. Life is looking good. Going to see Blades of Glory tomorrow with Rick, and then I'm going to Aoyama for dinner and I'll see the gorgeous and sexy Iso there. If the State of NY didn't already take my money from my tax return,

I was going to look into purchasing component speakers for my car. My fronts blew out years ago and with the components I get fronts and separate tweeters that I can position for better sound. So next week probably Tuesday I'll want to be heading down to Best Buy and seeing what they got and if they can hook me up.

Ahhh, work.... I think we all need to take a year off, and travel around the world.... We could learn many valuable life lessons, and get hammered on foreign alcohol while doing it! wink
