Tour diary (pt. 3)

(written 7/14/06)

Greetings from room 11 of the Turnpike Motel in Kennebunk, ME. Last night was definately a hit and run show. It was over before I knew it. At least we got to play with a pirate!

Oh, one more aside from the night before. Besides laughing over the "children" sign, we kept laughing over how friggin' wavy the roads...

Still getting ready for the band's mini-tour. I have a few more items to get for the road. At least the dates are finalized...I think! Still not 100% sure on the Pittsburgh area show. It will either be in a museum or a basement.

I'm not really stressing as we should have plenty of places to crash along the way. J Prozac will let us...

Yesterday after work was just one of those special days where the weather is just perfect and your mind is at ease. I had no worries, no stress, everything felt perfect.

Andy had picked me up right at work. Tweety and Pancakes were along for the ride. We were gonna go check out the comic book/sportscard/toy expo over at the Wildwood Convention Hall. We got...

It's that time of year again, the annual "Whale of a Day" festival right here in my neighborhood. I hear the goddawful One Man Band guy right on schedule. The shoobies just eat this stuff up! I went down there last year and actually found some vintage vinyl. Think I'll pass this year though, gotta save for tour.

I've calmed down a bit since my...

Vinni's party, CMCH, NJ 6/22/06

Styrofoam Paradise thru a graduation/b-day party for Vinni so us dopes crashed it and played.

We got there around 6:30 to find a house full of kids and a keg of beer, Being the responsible (or should I say paranoid) adult, I refused to indulge. Instead, we headed out to the back deck where the gear was set up. Ah,...

What can I say? The best local show ever! All the bands were fantastic, and much props go out to the Sheckie kids and everyone who came out. All the bands were telling me afterwards how our little town was the best stop on tour. Circle pits, dancing, everyone having fun, and no fights. You all deserve...
