Ox's Place, Wildwood, NJ 8/17/05

This was a last second show in memory of our friend Lena that passed away recently. At first we were a little nervous 'coz no one was there when we showed up. Luckily Ox soon turned up shortly afterwards. We got everything set up and then Andy was having troubles with hi amp head. He brought the Marshall as a back up and couldn't get the sound right even with that. So he called up Pvt. Dick who came over and got everything straightened out. Turns out it was a faulty cable.

So now we start playing and the 1st few songs we plagued with PA troubles. I don't know what it is about this new one, but it sure seems to cause trouble. We started of the set with a bunch of new tunes. Maybe that was a mistake 'coz it took a bit to shake off the rust. We were warming up nicely and it was shaping up to be a great show when the cops came to shut it down. Yeah, we were playing outside again. At least no one got arrested this time like Kite's 4th of July show.

I hung out for a little while and then Andy and I ended up taking Jen and this girl Jess over to the Star diner to get a bite to eat. Turns out they screwed up Jen's order after she explained she was vegan and the waitress said she understood. We just ended up back at Jen's where I feel asleep yet again.
