Well, first the good news. I've been sticking to the diet and the results are starting already. According to the scale I'm now 373 lbs down from 377 a few days ago. Yeah, I know it's probaly water loss, but a good start never the less. We finally got our first true Winter cold snap, so I stayed inside and did my own excercise routine made up of stetching, bending, and after improving dumbells out of 1 gallon water jugs, curling in a sense. I'm paying the price today with a little stiffness and a sore back. Yeah, I'm that out of shape.

I'm still confused over the whole Catholic vs. Christian thing and still feeling hypocritical in a sense that I'm only even pursuing it out of fear. I'm still in that weird place where I look at little coincidences and wonder if it's a sign of some kind. For example, I was having a MSN chat with Cindy and although we were both connected and online, I'd type messages and get no response. Minutes later I'd get the message saying they were unabled to be delivered and there we both are still showing were online. I had to get her on Yahoo IM to let her know what was up. I never had that happen before. Overeacting? I'm sure, but this is the stuff that throws me on edge "should I even be conversing with her in the 1st place" (the whole her being married, you know the coveting commandment). I'm pretty sure I'm slowly losing my fucking mind. I thought faith was supposed to comfort you not turn you upside down.

OK, a bit of light news after all that. Andy was kind enough to give me a bunch of videos that he upgraded to DVD. So I got almost all the 90's Japanese only Godzilla movies, every Bruce Lee movie, the Majin series, Freddy Got Fingered, Mego Toy Commercials, and a few more. Call me a dinosaur, VHS still works for me!

I think the benefit show we're taking part in might have a nice turnout. I truely hope so since it's really for a good cause...

This is a BENEFIT SHOW for SOPHIE DARR. She is Shane, from NRL's cousin's daughter. On Wed. Nov. 22nd 2006, two weeks before her 3rd birthday, she was found to have a brain tumor/cancer the size of a golf ball. Four bands- The Sheckies, NRL, Raucous, and Common Enemy are holding a benefit show on Fri. 1/26/07 in Somers Point, NJ to help support Sophie and her family.

We are deeply saddened over Sophie's illness, and her family is devastated, yet we are all still with high hopes as Sophie already shows clear signs of improvement. Through all the ups and downs, Sophie is overall making progress. She underwent treatments of high dose radiation and the tumor has begun to shrink and break up. She is a strong little fighter and her parents are fighting for her just as hard. Sophie has been in a lot of pain, and she had lost the ability to talk and walk. But, since she is such a determined little girl, she is beginning to take steps again with help, and is gaining her speech back. Sophie is out of the hospital now and her parents (Jeff and Lauren) are both home staying by her side to care for her and her little brother round the clock. She is still on various medications and is undergoing physical therapy.

We want to see as many more smiles on her beautiful little face as possible! You can help too by attending the benefit show, starting your own benefit show, or by visiting Sophie's Caringbridge website below... she and her family need all the love and support they can get. Please forward this to anyone who you believe can help in any way. Thank you.
