Yesterday after work was just one of those special days where the weather is just perfect and your mind is at ease. I had no worries, no stress, everything felt perfect.
Andy had picked me up right at work. Tweety and Pancakes were along for the ride. We were gonna go check out the comic book/sportscard/toy expo over at the Wildwood Convention Hall. We got there and walked thru. Nothing really caught my eye and I'm kind of glad for that as I need to save money for the trip. Andy got a DVD of Superman cartoons from the '40's. Afterwards we walked on the boards for a bit. Tweety wanted to ride the rollercoaster. It was pretty funny watching Andy hold her monstrosity of a pink purse with gold chains hanging off of it.
From there we headed over to the Hurricane to check out the new Saturday matinees. We wanted to give support to the Styrofoam Paradise kids. They played a great set and even had Andy sit in on drums for a cover of Mashed Potato. Funny thing is my old chefs daughter is now working there as a cocktail waitress. He would flip out if he knew!
From there is was back to Andys to sit down to some BBQ with the family. Afterwards we watched his new DVD. I never even heard of it before. Really good animation too.
I just enjoyed having a worry free day for once. No chest pains, no panic. Quite a contrast from work earlier in the day. I didn't mention I finally snapped and did the unthinkable, I spit in someone's food. Can't say the bitch didn't deserve it. She wanted an item no longer on the menu, a pepper & egg beater sandwhich. So she got around it by ordering a pepper & eggbeat omelet with a steakroll on the side. It was the way she treated the waitress that really got me, "I didn't ask, I told you they have to make it". These people are real pain in the asses all the time too. Supposedly they got "food poisoning" off a cup of beef barley soup before. My question is, why are they back then? I'm not proud I did it, but this was one case where someone truely deserved it. People, again I have to add, watch "Waiting". "Never fuck with the people who handle your food"........
