Spent yesterday getting the car ready for the big roadtrip to see the Crowes this Wednesday in Johnson City, NY. Cleaned it out, got an oil change, and went to Radio Shack. I was tempted to get an MP3 player, but I just went with a Sony Discman, car adapter, and a CD wallet that holds 32 discs. So what did I fill it with for the roadtrip you ask?

Got to go visit "my son" on his birthday yesterday. At first I felt I was in Romper Room with all the kids running around. I just chilled out with my PBR. Eventually they all left and the Zombie Crew showed up. Wound up fallen asleep as usual. Sure I provided more entertainment.
Guess the word got out about me calling Sofia. Guess people are making it out more than what it really was. 2 phone calls and that was it. Still pisses me off I never got a phone call back, but I guess it's all for the best. I mean WTF was I thinking anyway? I really don't have time for games. I think the dissapointment again is not in getting burned, it just reminds me of all the other failures. And it leaves me with even more self doubts in myself.
Work is gonna be a bitch this weekend. Got a long day today with a late wedding, then of course the worst day of the year if you're in the foodservice biz, Mother's Day. All this with a new chef to boot. Joy! Andy was telling me he reminds him even more and more of Bri Bri. I just hope he stays mellow and can handle the shit.
Hope Cindy and I get to chat after work tomorrow. I'm gonna need it!
