Seems like once again I jumped the gun. Ah well, I'm used to dissapointment. I left 2 messages on Sofia's cell, still no call back. Ball's in her court, I knew it was too good to be true. And to think Cindy freaked out over this. This just makes me sad and even angry that her and I can't be together now. Here we are, perfect for one another and we're waiting on forever.

She went to Memphis, TN for the big "Memphis in May" festival. She's gotten to call me a couple times to tell me all the great music she's been hearing. Glad she was able to go, she deserves some fun! I can't wait to hear how Cake was. I'm trying to convince her to stay today for Govt Mule and James Brown.

Andy says I should give Sofia the benefit of a doubt. To me it's just a continuing saga of the story of my life. It's hard to be positive when you're so used to failure. I've already been down this road so many times my footprints have worn in. Let me have my pity party for a few days and I'll be back strong. It just would've been nice for once to have someone to hang out with here. Back to being the loneliest Sheckie, boo fuckin' hoo!

Thank God I have what I have with Cindy. It might be thru a phone and a computer, but without it I would've lost my mind long ago...
