Wednesday night karaoke at Bush Gardens was excellent fun, and big ups to the staff for letting us murder the songs on what was supposed to be a karaoke-free night for them. It was also great to finally meet some SGPDXers and put some real names to fake names. Next time, though, everyone should wear nametags, because I'm genetically incapable of remembering more than two names at a time.
A word of warning to future karaoke-ers: The Rollong Stones' "Brown Sugar" is just about the nastiest song ever written. I knew it was about a black girl, which is why I dedicated it to ragingWHORE, but I had no idea that the entire fucking song is about slaves. Whoops. Luckily rW has a sense of humor, or I wouldn't be in any condition to type this.
Highlight of the night was going to Roxy's after Embers after Bush Gardens and getting propositioned by the cute gay waiter. I almost hated to tell him that I played for the other team, because he was so righteously bold about asking me to come home with him, but I don't know that my girlfriend would have approved (and I'm pretty certain I wouldn't have either).
PS: Whoever's in charge of making the emoticons, we need a devil one, with horns.

Thanks for that.
How much to get my band in your favourites?
Shit, no ... Nevermind. I don't have a band anymore.
I'm off to the recordist group. Word.
