I'm glad your friend had support and was able to get away, I have a friend whose sister wasn't so lucky. I know both are topics that a lot of people try to pretend don't happen, but for someone who has dealt with either situation, the world can be a pretty lonely place. Hopefully the information made it to someone who needed it.
