Not to put my troubles upon anyone elses shoulders but I have a custody hearing tomorrow at 10 am, and I am pretty much scared to death right now about the whole thing. I know that I am a good father, and that I provide for my child very well, but that really doesnt matter when the Childs mother is out for blood. She wants full custody so her and her new fianc' can move to Canada. If this happens, you might as well start writing my obit, because I live for the days that I get my kid. So, I have a huge favor to ask all of you, and I am not ashamed to ask it. Please, tonight before you call it a night, can you remember me and my daughter in your prayers? I dont care if the powers that be take everything else away from me, just pray that I get to keep joint custody of my little girl, thats all I ask. I will remember you guys in your times of need (I already pray and ask God to bless you each night anyway).
I dont mean to sound like a bible thumping evangelist, and I really dont mean to push any type of religious belief on anyone, I just want divine intervention because I know that this is a state where 98% of the time, the kid goes with mom, and I cant bear to let this happen. Hell, I would even rub Buddhas belly if I had time.
On a lighter note, thanks for all the compliments on my kid and the story, I really love the fact that you guys and gals are so genuine. Your posts always make me smile.
