Buying $7 part at Rona on VISA. Cashier does not have a pen & can not find a pen. Tells me I can not buy the part. There's 2000 pens for sale right next to me. Cashier won't A. just take one off the wall, and B. won't let me buy one with my VISA.
Get home, throw a small vicotry celebration as one of the cats is finally using the scratching post... On closer inspection it is the declawed one.
Burn off an old emergency flare in the backyard to see if they are still good. The FD shows up, and gives me crap for burning it off. (Neighbour called it in) I point out it is an emergency flare, not a firework and that the EMS showing up is very effective use of it.
Operation: Stupid completed.
