Then there's a civil suit brought forth by the mother of the victem vs. Police Dept for not arresting the murders after the rape but before the murder. The Judge ruled a pathetic sum, and then broke up the reparations payable as follows: Convicted murders to pay %85 for doing the deeds, the city to pay %14 for not preventing the murder and finally %1 payable by the victem. (!)
No seriously. This fuck-tard had the gaul to award a prize to the victems mother, payable by the raped and dead victem, signifying the the victem was somehow responsable and thus deserving of being raped and killed.
