Okay, here's the tale.
Worked security at the club Saturday night. Was some dumb hip-hop dance party for a bunch of high schoolers.
For two hours I stood around bored watching these kids mill around ignoring the music and talking on cell phones.
Then the club finally started to fill up and the people watching was poised to get interesting, then BAM. Like 10 fights in 6 minutes. So me and the other guys are throwing kids around and prying them apart (even demostrated my little seen martial art move: the Atomic Wedgie). At this point we decide to eject everyone as it was obvious they only reason anyone was there was to fight.
Next the crowd started surging between the exits trying to follow the fighting. I went outside to get the wanna be gangsta's to hit the street and not out cars in the lot...
Then the crowd surges back towards the club. I have no idea what is going on at this point. When I get back inside, the rest of the guys want to know if I saw the shooter, and I am like, "What shooter? Someone had a gun?!?" Apparently some punk let loose with a dozen or so rounds, and I managed to NOT hear or see anything...
Kid needs to join a gun club or something though. 12 rounds and no hits? An XBoX does not a firearms simulator make.
Oh, and the promoter disapeared witht he cash box during the chaos, so no one got paid.
