It's interesting how certain things can affect a person so much--things one was previously unaware of, and things that may have been sitting there in the back of the mind--restless and waiting for the perfect time to bother.

It has all come, and left me in a curious state. I feel sad and horribly confused--yet there is a certain excitement for the coming months. I have taken the first step toward some sort of closure, and although I have no idea how this is going to play out...hopefully soon it will be over, and the healing can start.

This vacation reminded me of how incredible my mom is, and just how much she means to me.

I smell a change in the air.
