What a difference a couple of months make.. Where to begin?! Will anyone care?! Does anyone actually read other peoples blogs?! I shall write, it's your choice to read my blatherings or to not.. There are a lot more interesting things you could do instead of wasting your time on this blog!!! I now find myself in the most unwanted role of single mum, adding to the fantastic local statistics of under 30s with child / without husband.. I'd say I'm not bitter but that would be a blatant lie! On the plus side I now have more room in my wardrobe for shoes & no one to tell me not to buy the magical creations that will hurt but look so pretty
& yarn... oh how my stash has grown!!
Yvaine & I spent 5 weeks in a hostel & have now been in our high rise flat for nearly 2 months. We get the most fantastic view of the sun setting from up here & got to enjoy sonisphere from the comfort of our living room so there are plus points to the situation! The puglets are now home so all is hectic in our pad, very glad I didn't convince the ex to get a pig. Not sure my landlord would have agreed to that, the puglets & the piglet!
Mum is doing well after having her sternum re-wired after her op, it was free floating for a while.. The thought of that makes me feel very queasy. I still think it's madness that she has bounced back so fast after being opened up like one of the muppets puppets & being quite severely tampered with! The NHS has to be doing something right!
I am a proud member of the hells belles herts roller derby team, theres nothing more that I like to do than bash into my friends on skates on a sunday morning.. If they would have let us play roller derby at school I would have been much more up for PE! I'm hoping to pass my minimum skills in the next couple of months & get into bouting for real, I've had a few bad ass bruises already just from practicing so bouting should be a poop load of fun ending with some black & blueness of the thighs
Never thought I'd be a booty shorts kinda gal, especially after having la bambino but now I seem to have an ever growing collection of barely there shorts & fishnets (fishnet burn is real & hurts like a mofo)!
I came back from global gathering on monday, it was so nice to get away for a couple days but I missed my lil woman & it was lovely to see her lil smile again
we did the whole weekend straight & it was very refreshing to watch the mash ups with a clear head & not chewing my lips off!! We seemed to attract the more mashed up messy heads as we had a lot of glow sticks on our persons, like moth to flames they all came our way! Saw Beardyman live, he is pretty amazing.. The whole set was made up of looped noises that he made on the spot as he went along.. Genius!
