I've come to the realization i have zero job satisfaction. i really don't look forward to going to work...ever. The sad part about the military is even if you're tired of the monotony, you can't do anything about it. You can't change jobs, you can't work harder to get promoted, and you can't really affect change because it's all personality dependent. It nurtures mediocrity by promoting on a timeline instead of competence and the nails that stick out get hammered down. It's a great career if you can work the system, but I don't like the type of person that turns you in to. However i have another 18 months of this stuff...so i guess i better suck it up for now.
