Sometimes the generosity of people and the human spirt amazes even myself.
For those who dont know what I am actually dealing with heres the deal.
Last October, I was diagnosed with esophageal cancer. Two forms, in two different locations. I have actually worked with NHL's hockey Fights Cancer and the Lance Armstrong Foundation (LiveSTRONG) for quite sometime. I lost my grandmother to brain cancer and grandfather to stomach cancer many years ago, so I took this as a sort of personal mission even before my own fight.
Just a few minutes ago I get a very kind email from a gent who tells me he is keeping me and my family in his heart and prayers and wishing for a speedy and compete recovery. He then goes on to tell me that they found a tumor in his eye last week. He awaits testing results. Knowing first hand how horrible it is to wait for these results, it is amazing that he took the time to email well wishes. I so hope it is benign.
So, anyway, I dont mean to make this a bit heavy, I sort of come here as an escape from the thoughts of cancer, but if anyone reads this stuff, please feel free to keep a very kind spirit in Reinach, Switzerland in mind and heart. Please let this tumor be benign.

I don't necessarily pray for others, but you will be on my mind for sure. Postitive thoughts to you and your loved ones and Switzerland. There are many on this site who I am sure will do the same.
Want to do the skate thing again. Bowling is Feb. 20.
We always have a blast doing whatever.
I want to get more things going, no one ever really steps up to the plate. Love to play pool most definatly.
