Since the kids have gotten out of school, we have now acquired a couple of new rescue snakes. The first pics are of the California Kingsnake my friend Margaret got for me from one of the teachers at the school she teaches at. He was severely impacted, to the degree that you could see the buldge in his lower tail area, just before the vent. Took a couple of weeks to get him in normal shape. As you can see, he is 100% better now.
The next pics are of a Texas Coral snake found off of 290 and Convict Hill, near where I rehearse at with The Delinquents. Saved this guy from getting axed with a shovel. Anyone who knows me well, knows this is the pinnacle of indigenous Texas snakes as far as I am concerned. I absolutely love the tri colord snakes, like Corals, and various Milksnakes.
I am a happy camper right now.
