Ah yes! Another year coming and yet still too far from the end. You would think that after 2,047 years I would get over the whole birthday thing, but I guess I just never grew up. Hobbits like me just should not live past 1,793 but like mama said, "We have good genes." and she is well into her 2,177th year. Just a few more days and I will be celebrating with cakes and ale (a nice dark ale, although I don't really drink) or maybe a fine port wine.
