Chuang-Tzu could be saying one of two things:

"Jump head first into the depths of life and call me when you find joy."

OR

"Spend your life in limbo because it's less scary than taking risks."

Maybe I'm just really bad at processing Taoist texts, but I'd go with the first choice.
