Woo hoo! Got a new desk for christmas!!!! I should have taken a pic of the old one, but man, my whole workspace was so ghetto. So I find out that the girlfriend has been spending all this research time, meeting with both of my parents (one works, and the other used to work in selling furniture), checking out prices....just to find me the perfect desk! Anything where I don't have to lay 2X4's down to set my monitors on. ha ha ha, so cool.

Incidentally, the ruffled fabric at the bottom right of the picture is my crotch, as I was lying on my bed taking it over my stomach. Curse my insanely huge crotch, always getting in the way of pictures.

So yeah, the rest of Christmas was very nice. Michelle came with me to open presents insanely early at my Mom's. My mom is big into traditions, so she made this apple pancake stuff she does every Christmas. SO good. Around lunch time we headed over to my dad's to hang out. We watched The Black Cauldron, which was a gift from my sister. Ha ha, my dad stresses way too much about what to get me for Christmas, and then freaks out and just buys the first thing he finds. I received a DVD survival kit from him - including scratch wipes and markers to write on burned DVD's. Hey, that's cool, it was nice of him to get me anything.

Rest of the day was fun, eating dinner at mymom's, and finally getting home at about midnight where I thought that putting this desk together would be a really quick process. Finally, at 7:30 AM, I went to bed.
