went to doctors.
nearly drowned on they way there. its been raining non stop for 4 days. the roads are flooded. weirdly, i don't own a waterproof coat or shoes. was very well. even my bra was wet. its a 10 minutae walk to the doctors. and i even had an umbrella. it was windy!!! didn'\t do much good! although got me a few stares as its a frog umbrleaa with big eyes!
i have inflamation of the stomach lining. so have been given some medicene. after having my stomach poked. wearing clothes is really uncomfortable as im all swollen. am glad to be out of my wet clothes into my pjs again!
Peppermint or aniseed flavour medicene? hmm.. lets think. i like aniseed, but i think peppermintis the way to go, as i feel sick. i mean aniseed balls are good, but you don't want them when you feel rough do you?
So i trundle off to the pharmesit. turns out its cheaper to buy it over the counter than by perscription. so i buy it.
and they give me a paper bag.. to carry in the rain? so i ni[p to the shop.. am not allowed anything heavy to eat. so bought cheesy doritos and chocolate covered raisins!
get home, make my self tea, with milk!!! YAY! ring my mum whos travelling to basingstoke by train. all the lines are flooded, so shes coming home.
I ring up work, tell them i'm ill. they ask "so it's your mum poisening you like you thought?!" yes... yes it is! it was those nasty tuna sandwiches with olives in. I like tuna, not olives! So i'm not going into work tomorrow, but will ring up tomorrow night to elt them nkow if i am going in on weds.. Its uncomfortable sitting down and wearng clothes at the mo!
So.. I come upstairs.. I open the ottle of medicine.. its pink... weird.. why would they make peppermint stuff pink?
Its not peppermint!!! I have a mouthfull of it, and i swear through it while im reading the label.. Its aniseed! YUCK! i like aniseed, but not while im feeling sick... makes me feel more sick.
must eat more chocolate raisins to make teh taste go away.. a spoon full of sugar helps the medicine go down!
erhhhgghhh
