Hiya,
Today's another day, another dollar. Not too much has been going on. I'm still very happy about my new status at a model (no more details openly published; ask me though and I will inform you about it and where to see the photos). <-- Just making sure that SG doesn't feel that my modelling for a possibly competitive site, therefore, banning my account. Freedom of speech means I can share the details in private message or over AIM, but I just can't publish it here, in a public setting on SG. (S'not appropriate via capitalism, I guess).
Well, Ian, Hunter's bestfriend is living at our house for a few weeks. His roomie bailed on him and he's a tad bit homeless. He works long hours all day, so I really only see him at night. Last night, Hunter, Ian and I all took some Adderall (for the energy and euphoria). We had a bit of a slumber party. We stayed up all night talking, listening to Korn, playing XBOX360 and painting. Hunter is an art studio major and Ian's just a lover of drawing and painting. I myself am a wordy person --I write poetry and lyrics, mainly, as my form of expression. Last night I experimented with some splashing of ink though. I created a bloody hand smear with blood dripping down from the center. Three blue circles representing the trinity, (God the father, God the son and God the Holy Spirit). Following that was a puddle of blood (color) with nearly translucent blue water in a puddle. (The New Testament says that the praetorian guard stabbed Christ in the side to make sure he was dead; water and blood flowed out. --This was seen as a, "sign." We now know it was caused by pulmonary edema). Amongst the mess of "blood," I charcoaled a broken, thorny crown. I did it all with ink and hand, ink and cotton ball and ink spilling. My hand is stained red now.
Anywho, I am not a Christian, but rather an atheist. However, in my art history class we are studying the medieval and renaissance and that is what inspired my theme. I was also raised in a Christian home by a master's degree of koine Greek and the New Testament father. It's going to be Dad's birthday on the 30th and he told me to just make him a hand-made card. I decided to frame my painting/inking and give it to Dad for his birthday. He'll be stoked. He loves anything I create for him and he especially appreciates Biblical themes.
Hrmmm... Today I've just been hanging out and discussing random things with Hunter and oogling at my photoset that went up. I'll probably write some poetry tonight, listen to some Korn and maybe chat in the SG main room.
More later,
Luv,
--Kikou
