Tampons, crystal meth and another new corset!
Okay, okay, I'll explain things one at a time...
First of all, my period finally came. As I've mentioned in previous posts, I have hormonal difficulties and have to see the endocrinologist this week. I started taking a lot of blue and black cohosh (herbs), a couple days ago that are supposed to help start the monthly shedding of the lining. I guess they worked. So anywho, I've always been totally anti-Tampax and 100% Playtex... Today I tried Tampax Pearl and I really, really like them. (Gawd, I'm sure all the men reading this are just thrilled for me! Lol).
Crystal meth? My neighbor is this older woman who has had drug problems her whole life. She was staying with her practically ancient (84 years) grandmother. However, her mother basically kicked her out today. She's a good friend and someone I totally trust and lean on, despite her difficulties. Anyway, she'll be staying at my house for a couple days till she gets on her feet. So as for crystal, I told her that it would be alright if she did it in my house. Personally, I am not a tweaker or addict and have not touched stimulants for years (until today). I am also not a tweaker hater, either. It just honestly doesn't bother me to see her doing it or smell it in my house. We smoke plenty of pot in here, and to me, all drugs are just drugs... Even tobacco and alcohol. I cannot say what separates the drug addict from the recreational user... It seems to be a card of luck, or unluck, that one gets dealt in a lifetime. So, I consider it luck that I'm not the type to be snorting lines as long as the Central Park bike path, and I'm grateful that I don't suffer such disorders. So anyway, I smoked a little crystal meth with my friend today. I had a couple hits and decided I didn't want anymore. It wore off quickly though and I have no desire to do anymore. It was an interesting experience though. I can see where it's completely a psychological addiction though, at least at first. Still, it's not my thing and I'm always and probably always will just be, "Janie, the stoner chick."
Now... Onto corsets!!! I LOVE the goddamned things! Yesterday I bought a corset for fairly cheap from Hot Topic. Today my friend and I went down to costume store and were looking at more corsets. Since I am letting her stay here a few days and sharing my cigarettes and such, she told me she would buy me a corset. I got a really awesome, tight, black one. It was barely $20. The reason for that is that the costume store where we went is kind of like, an outlet or surplus store, but more on a private level. The owner sews all the clothing in the store for her online store. Whatever's left over that doesn't get sold, she sells in the store and drops the price down to basically just the cost of the fabric. It's sooo neat! I saw a silk kimono there for only $40!!! I'm totally going back there to shop next week when I get some cash. Anyway, explaining the corsets' designs and patterns would be ridiculous, so I just had Hunter take a couple pictures of me with them on...
Here's the first one, $40 from Hot Topic... Oh, and the straps are removable:
And here's the second one, which I got today. It is much tighter and has stiffer wiring in it than the previous one. I guess Hot Topic makes corsets more for the everyday goth to wear, so they're much more comfortable. This one though, comparatively, is more like the real deal and you certainly wouldn't be able to eat a large meal in it. It was marked down from $80 to $20:
So yeah... Today's going well. It's not too hot out today and, OH! I wrote Yuki Suicide and she wrote me back! *Sigh* She is such a goddess!
Hehe... Yep, guess that's all I've got for now. I'll write more later when more things transpire. Leave me comments and send me cyber love!
Xoxo,
