Sorry I haven't had a chance to respond to anyone.. its been crazy. Our trip to DC was awesome. I spent a day at my aunt's beach house on the bay in MD.. it was beautiful. I have pictures, I will post them probably this weekend. I just got a Mac Mini and I'm still trying to work out all the quirky stuff and learn how to use it. So it'll be this weekend before I'll be able to download any pictures.

My aunt spoiled me.. took me shoe shopping, got my hair cut and got a pedi/manicure. It was awesome! Then we went back to DC on Sunday afternoon and I met up with J again (he drove down to VA to a math conference) and we did some more site seeing. It was a really nice & relaxing weekend.

Now I'm all caught up on my sleep and finishing up some laundry. Need to do my yoga and get caught up on my homework before I leave for work at 12. Hope everyone had a nice Veteran's Day Weekend.. Oh, and btw, did anyone notice that our president (for the 4th time!) had chosen to spend Veteran's Day at his ranch in TX instead of in DC for the ceremonial events in Arlington Cemetery, (which also happens to be the 25th anniversary of the Vietnam Memorial Wall)? I think it's pretty disrespectful, in so many ways.. I guess I just expect the president to be there, because they always are, and especially since he is a war time president.. it makes me so sad
