Surviving the parents ok, tomorrow is their last day here. Went to see Oscar Wilde's "The Importance of Being Earnest" ath the U's Centennial Showboat with them last night. Also talked my mom into buying me some new workout shoes since I'm broke and the ones I had I'd worn a hole through the bottom - they were old. I've been trying not to go...

ah, office space, you are such an excellent movie. lately, I can't this quote out of my head:
"...ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life. "

Sweeney's is on Dale, a few blocks south of Selby, not far from Chang's.

normally i would say i'd be at Costello's at that time, but after the incident the other night, it depends on how much ribbing i get there, or whether this woman comes at me with a knife when i explain that i'm really not interested.....i may need a new bar.
long story.
i'll prolly be there though, less things get really ugly.

Last week ( and damn, it's been a week already, time sure does fly) I got to hang out with Oso. I met him when I was on SG the first time but had lost touch, so it was great to see him again. He's a good guy with some good stories.

Of course I appreciate some criticism.
To answer your question, however, it is more a problem with the audience than the creators - that is, until you reach the point where the Americans have begun to create it in the fandom and it is regarded by the creators not as pornography, but as helpful social statements on the apparent lives of gay men.
I am not saying that yaoi is the only stereotype present which is harmful to younger gay men. However, considering its popularity, I'd say it is a lot more immediate and influential than other stereotypes may perhaps be. I feel like young gay men do have a lot to lose by buying into any yaoi stereotype.

You have good taste in artists, and your first drawing reminds me of a discussion I had with a friend about a contrived tattoo that he was deliberately working on. Irony? I think he had thrown a dove and an anchor into the mix as well.
Oso is one of the best people that you could ever hope to meet.

So, I was on here a while ago and for some random reason I felt it necessary to check the site out again.

Also, I'm not things now that I was before.
Such is time, such is life.
