I literally feel like the walking dead today. Last night got a bit out of hand with the Jameson since my long time friend stopped in for a visit. It had been a couple of years since we've seen each other so we thought it to be proper to celebrate like old times, needless to say I cannot party like I used to. Thankfully i'm on vacation this week, and by vacation I mean getting paid not to do anything because, in fact, I'm only sitting home and spending time with family and friends.
This is where I would like to be, however:

But i'll settle for family time and the occasional trip to the bar.
One thing on my agenda for vacation is to go candle and plant shopping. I know this sounds absolutely weird but I really need new candles and plants for the apartment. I could also use another art portrait but I feel as though that might take more than a week long vacation to find something I have to look at forever.
Take care for now, i'll return soon!

Aging certainly seems to make recovering more difficult, however it does have some benefit. For one example:
It has taken us almost 20 years, but it seems we've finally found a collection of houseplants that
can - - if not thrive under our care - - at least tolerate and survive our neglect.
