not particularly,
but I'd be happy to switch places with you for the day;
I'll do your job &
you can come deal with my craziest client and
the case from hell.
Since today is my only day off this week i'm dedicating it to being as lazy as possible... nothing but coffee drinks, cigarettes and Netflix all day long, with a few hours of leisurely reading. It actually feels pretty good!
I've been getting pretty bored with the roll-a-dex of recipes that I have. With that being said, I would love for everyone who reads this... Read More
Dude! I love to cook [but I hate to bake, weird huh?], but I could no more settle on a "favorite" recipe any more than picking my favorite shade of grey.
What are your interests?
Oh & also, if you just wanna waste a few hours,
or play a gastronomic Russian roulette
make sure to check out punchfork, it's pretty awesome.
I'm thanking you a million times over for the punchfork link... I can't bring myself away from it. As for interests... i'm a sandwich guy through and through... Reuben's, Phili's, melts. I love them all. If I had to pick an origin, however, I would probably choose Asian cuisine and Greek cuisine. The flavors drawn from these two styles of cooking are out of this world.
I'm pretty sure i've been living off of coffee and cigarettes for the last four days... I have no real remembrance of the last time I had a real meal that WASN'T pita chips and hummus. Well, I guess I have kind of a fun story... perhaps not fun but it DOESN'T have a bad ending, so that's got to count as some sort of... Read More
Well, well, well.... look who's back at it! I can imagine that I missed A LOT while I was out. There is a lot to keep you occupied around these parts, and there are definitely a couple blogs I missed while I was gone! Also, why is there not some type of SG app yet?! I don't mind the mobile site but it just seems... Read More
I don't know why but I laughed so hard when I saw this.
How's life SGers?! Nothing new on this end, just work and books and the occasional beer. I've been pondering ideas for a new tattoo but nothing has really kept my attention. I'd like to sit down with someone and explain my ideas in a fashion that could be translated to drawings or... Read More
Well I THOUGHT I would use my cell phones internet connection capabilities but I didn't realize how much is would actually cost me to do so. Apparently USING what you already have increases the price dramatically. So for now i'm taking full advantage of my buddies home network connection. FREE INTERWEBS! I've tried to find a connection around my neighborhood but EVERYONE secures their network,... Read More
shit, for $30 a month, I'd gladly pay the extra up-front; I don't care if it's called a security deposit, installation fee, or just 'we're gonna screw you because we can' fee. I think we pay twice that just for internet and then all the cable channels (we don't watch) add incrementally more.
Hope the new year is grand to you, and may the hands of enlightenment rain grievous blows upon the fuckfaces (& knock some sense in there in the process).
All moved into the new place, and MAN does it look stellar. Also, I recently discovered that i've been paying AT&T to provide my cell phone with the opportunity to thether and wirelessly route my computer to internet access, so I'M ALIVEEEEE!
Moving is, however, a chore in and of itself. I've decided that next time I move, I'll offer my current belongings to future... Read More
aye, and/or collecting so much crap.
I think that's the worst part of moving for me,
realizing that - - but for an abundance of storage space - - we'd probably be called hoarders.
Not really,
but - - I've still got my notes from college, in binders, in boxes, in the shed . . .
just in case.
As if I may need to look up something from Feudal Japan in the Age of the Samurai and,
on that day, the internet will be broken.
Well tomorrow cannot come fast enough. Moving day! Along with painting and cleaning the new apartment. I'm actually looking forward to all of the cleaning that I have to do before I can call it livable. Call me crazy but I get a type of satisfaction out of spending my time cleaning and scrubbing... it's an odd thing about me. I wasn't able to set... Read More
Well, I survived Cortaca like I hoped I would, and only one friend ended it with a measly open container ticket. The game was pretty good, since we won 27-3 or something like that. The bars were absolutely jam packed, or as my good friend would describe it, nuts to butts full of people. It was almost impossible to buy beer at the bar because... Read More
