so, at the video store today i purchased all kinds of stuff. i found a bunch of great things like the "the burmese harp" and "bread and tulips". I also found a (cheap) copy of Amelie for my mom (she may or may not dig it). i left for the grocery store to meet up with a friend. standing in the check-out, i mentioned to her that I found some other French films.
redneck behind me: "you speak French?"
me: "no"
r: "you just watch 'em then?"
m: "yeah"
r: "for fun"
m: "they're subtitled, dude"
r: blank stare, receives call from wife telling him which cigs to purchase.
should i feel bad that a friend of mine blocked me from msn messenger? for two weeks we've chatted almost every night. she always busts my chops and i found it kind of amusing that someone so young could have so much baggage.
she has this habit of guilting me whenever i sign off and i stay for too long because of this. last night, she kept guilting me in the middle of my studying for a final. i took a quit break to say hey. she knows how my wednesday is the day my CD reviews are due and i am making gifts and doing finals. she says "where's my cd?" "why don;t you want to stay and talk to me?"
normally, i tell her nice chill talk, but this time i said "i don;t appreciate you always giving me a guilt trip about stuff" (especially when i am nice all the time, send her pictures of faeries, send her links to cool pages, go out of my way to compliment her and help her examine her life WHICH SHE ASKS FOR BY THE WAY).
she got upset and said "a simple no will do". i said 'sorry to lash, i just have a million things to do". she dismisses me with "goodnight".
she is always on msn, never turns off her modem and today, no show.
