So kickboxing didn't go so well today... I found myself fighting this one guy for an hour who outlcassed me by far. He was taller than me (taller than 6'3 is hard to do), stronger than me, faster than me, and had been doing it 4 times longer than I have. Oh, and he's also on the National Team. Yeah.
The workshop was injuries-city. I got winded a few times and barely avoided multiple bloody noses. Then I walked out of there with quite an aweful headache from getting nailed in the knockout points a few too many times. I did almost punch out this one dude though - he's going to be on my team when I goto a big tourny comming up, so I did feel kind of bad. Not to mention I punched this one girl really hard in her tit. It's not my fault though! It was the only area that was open and a valid target! She could take it though - she won the match.
I just saw Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Awesome picture. VERY well done. I almost fell in love with the main female character - and I could really relate to the role Jim Carrey played. The only thing that bothered me about the movie is there were a couple of bad edits - but only a video nerd like me would notice them. You HAVE to see this movie as well as the new Dawn of the Dead.
Love always.

Yes, that movie was incredible. It is definitely one of my very favorite movies. Planning to go see it again later this week. Clem was so adorable! In some ways she reminds me of myself, but in others is the type of fascinating and infectious girl I want to be. Jim Carrey did an great job too. For some reason I smell award nominations...
It was sad, hysterical, and joyful at the same time. There aren't enough happy movies being released lately other than annoyingly bad hollywood comedies.
