I've started going to MMA classes three nights a week now, and will probably start going four or five nights a week next month in an effort to increase my activity level to promote more weight loss as well as improve my overall emotional health as well as phjysical. (stress-relief, endorphine rushes, etc.)
Just one problem...
I am starting to cramp-up after every class!!
Not always immediately, mind you, but almost always sometime when I settle down to rest in the next twelve hours afterward, and always in my legs! I've been streching immediately after every class and making sure to hydrate, and it's been working so far. I still cramp-up, but not so intensely or painfully....just a small one while I'm sleeping that I can easily work out usually.
But last night I had one so bad I nearly started screaming. I guess I let myself get too cold afterward. I'm still feeling the pain in my legs from it even now!
I welcome and would be thankful for any suggestions?
Later my friends.

Try a banana before bed. It could be a mineral deficiency. I am glad you are having such a good time with MMA. Take care.
